On this date 48 years ago Angela was born. So this is her first birthday since 1987 that I don't have a present to give her. I don't know how this day will go -- practical things are pressing in all around me. But I will try to give thanks for the gift she was to me and offer this day for her. And here I would like to just post two pictures. The first is from a birthday around 1999 or so. I don't have an exact date. I think I just gave her a present. If you look closely you can see Lucia's face poking through between us. The second is from four years ago, May 2, 2007, with the three girls: Teresa, Lucia, Angela, Rosie.
